Bmw e90 key fob stuck in ignition no power

Attaching a booster box to the jumper post under the hood does nothing, there's still no power. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Open the hood and try connecting your back up battery to the jumper connectors of your car. Make sure you get the polarity right: positive (+, red) to positive, negative (-, black) to negative.
