WebUsing 3 pin switches in boards that allow for 5 pin can be annoying. I often have switches pop out with the caps attached when removing keycaps from PCBs that allow for 5 using 3 pin switches. It’s possible these are just loose hotswap sockets too though. And the stability I think can also be overstated. WebI always see people bashing hotswap, and saying solder is the way to go because of stability issues. I have a kbd67 soldered and I'm just hoping the feel will be pretty similar with hotswap board. No prob! I have a solder 60% board at work and a 65% hotswap at home. The 60% has 5 pins and the 65% has 3 pins.
