Alcohol is not the immune system's best friend, so if you need antibiotics, it is a good idea not to consume anything that is a deterrent to your immune system I would think, but the drug itself does not seem to be disturbed by alcohol. WebFlucloxacillin. Paracetamol has been reported to cause high anion gap metabolic acidosis when given with Flucloxacillin. Manufacturer advises caution. Severity: Severe. Evidence: Anecdotal. Both Paracetamol and Flucloxacillin can increase the risk of hepatotoxicity.
